About the Organization
MetroWest Medical Center has been serving the community since 1893 and is comprised of Framingham Union Hospital and Leonard Morse Hospital, a behavioral health specialty center in Natick. We offer comprehensive health care services including 24-hour emergency care, advanced cardiac care, high-tech cancer treatments, and advanced maternity care with a Special Care Level IIB nursery and high-risk pregnancy care. MetroWest Medical Center was recognized by the Joint Commission with a Gold Seal of Approval and ranked among the top 5% in the nation for coronary interventional procedures in 2023.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.
- Assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
- Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control.
- Coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regime to ensure optimum patient discharge.
- Perform and fulfill all HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed during emergencies and/or disasters.
- Know the hospital’s emergency codes, including their purpose and appropriate actions, and adhere to hospital policies and procedures for each code.
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and ensure competency of clinical staff.
- Support the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care and resource management.
- Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law, regulation, or policy in the state of practice.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred:
- Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).

Pay
Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus based on eligibility. Individual wages range from $33.50 to $73.31 per hour, determined by qualifications and experience.
