Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg
About the Role
Sovah Health is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with facilities coast to coast. As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our medical-surgical unit, you will join a 24-bed team with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and a 1:10 CA-to-nurse ratio. The unit serves a diverse patient population including medical, surgical, testing, and observation patients with common comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, stroke, renal, and psychiatric conditions.
Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Requirements
- Current VA or compact state RN license.
- Associate's degree in nursing (required).
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Experience in a clinical area (preferred).

Pay
Hourly range: $33.31 – $44.97. Eligibility for a $20,000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
