About the Role
The Registered Nurse provides quality patient-centered care considering age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.
Our Atrium East unit at Chelsea Hospital cares for Medical-Surgical patients with diagnoses ranging from medical conditions such as COPD, Sepsis, withdrawal, GI bleeds, and CHF to surgical procedures including bariatric, mastectomy, colorectal surgeries, and hernias. This 24-bed unit specializes in complex, high-acuity medical and surgical patients with a typical length of stay of 3-5 days.
Schedule
- Full time, benefit-eligible (72 hours per pay period, every two weeks)
- Day Shift
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
Requirements
- Current Michigan Nursing License
- At least one year of Med/Surg RN experience
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- New hires must have a BSN degree or agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
