About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical 4CD position is located at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. This role is part of a 26-bed Medical/Telemetry unit that includes both private and semi-private patient rooms. The unit primarily cares for patients admitted from the Emergency Department, offering a dynamic learning environment for new graduates.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
- Coordinate and implement evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making
- Communicate effectively and lead efforts to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
- Work in a fast-paced environment to learn and grow professional skills
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Pay
$38.20 - $57.30 per hour based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
Schedule
This position works every 3rd weekend, 50% holiday, 3rd shift (7pm-7:30am).
