About the role
Lead and shape the daily operations of a dynamic inpatient unit, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with psychiatric and substance use disorders. Drive the implementation and continuous evaluation of nursing practices across all hospital units to ensure exceptional outcomes and foster a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of an inpatient psychiatric/substance use unit.
- Implement and evaluate nursing practices to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Promote a collaborative team environment focused on patient recovery.
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday, 12 p.m. – 9 p.m., or
- Friday – Sunday, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Requirements
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of Georgia (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Three years’ supervisory experience required; inpatient setting preferred.
- Three years’ experience in mental health.
- Current CPI certification.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
