Registered Nurse (RN) - Logistics Transfer Center

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating all procedural, surgical, and hospital admissions to ensure accurate bed placement and efficient patient flow. Key Responsibilities: Manage hospital bed assignments, transfers, and admissions, including emergency and direct admits.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate procedures and emergency requests for appropriate placement.Facilitate critical care placements in emergent situations, ensuring timely communication with relevant departments.Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking to determine optimal patient placement for safe and effective care.Maintain clear communication, share information effectively, and resolve conflicts professionally.Participate in professional development, serve as a mentor, and uphold evidence-based practice standards and organizational policies.Support continuous improvement initiatives and resource management to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; active RN license (single or multi-state).Minimum of 2 years hospital nursing experience; Epic and 3M experience preferred.Current BLS certification required.Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; ability to adapt to change and handle emergent situations.
