Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- PRN (As Needed)
About the role
The RN/ LPN- PRN position at Eventide on Eighth Care Center requires availability for 12-hour Day Shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) or NOC Shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with a minimum requirement of 24 hours worked each month and two weekend shifts (Saturday / Sunday) every month. Additional compensation includes a $5/hour overnight shift differential and a $2/hour weekend shift differential.
Responsibilities
- Assesses residents' needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
- Provides individual attention to encourage each resident's physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Updates and modifies residents' plans of care as necessary.
- Administers medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness.
- Documents nursing care accurately in residents' electronic medical records.
- Communicates resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
- Maintains adequate staffing levels and corrects inadequate staffing.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new team members.
- Coordinates and participates in resident care conferences.
- Communicates resident needs to resident care staff.
- Interacts with physicians and other healthcare facilities as needed.
- Continually updates nursing skills and knowledge through in-services, continuing education, and staff meetings.
- Reports any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violations of residents' rights.
Requirements
Must have an active MN RN license or be able to obtain one upon hire. Experience in Long Term Care is preferred but not required.

Pay
$36 - $40.32 per hour for RNs and $29 - $32.48 per hour for LPNs based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available.
