Work Schedule

  • Day Shift: Monday–Friday
  • 72 hours per two weeks (Full-Time)

LPN Position Details

Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care under the direction and supervision of the provider, delivering safe and effective patient care.

Required Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Active license with the applicable Board of Nursing required upon hire

Medical Assistant Position Details

Job Summary: The Medical Assistant performs clinical and clerical duties to support patient care in the clinic, following established standards, competencies, and best practices.

Required Education / Certification: One of the following is required:

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) – National Healthcareer Association (NHA) with MA diploma
  • CCMA (NHA) with one year of experience
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – American Medical Technologists (AMT)

All certifications must be active upon hire.

What you will do

  • Performs general nursing care to patients.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
  • Coordinates the patient care activities for the clinic.
  • Prepares equipment and assists provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing of patients.
  • Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to provider.
  • Oversees appointment scheduling and ensures preferences are given to patients in emergency situations.
  • Maintains timely flow of patients.
  • Greets patients and prepares them for physical examination.
  • Screens patients for appropriate information including obtaining the health history, taking vitals, and conducting a nursing assessment.
  • Documents obtained information in patient chart.
  • Instructs patient in collection of samples and tests.
  • Responds to patient phone calls in a timely manner with appropriate input from the physician.
  • Educates patients and families about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition, and maintenance of health and wellness.
  • Suggests solutions to patient care crisis problems and complaints.
  • Maintains exam rooms with necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness.
  • Prepares list of medical supplies needed.
  • Assures appropriate labeling of pathology specimens according to lab protocol as needed.
  • Performs quality control and maintains records on all lab testing.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience

Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
