Job Summary

Eventide Prairie Commons in Grand Island is hiring for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift from 6p-6:00a (12 Hours), with every third weekend and holiday rotation. The position is currently open under the name Tabitha.

About the Role

The Charge Nurse provides and ensures the highest degree of nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as Eventide's philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills physician’s orders in line with Eventide’s policies and procedures.
• Prepares, administers, and supervises the administration of medication, treatments, and other nursing services as directed by the physician.
• Monitors seniors/clients for adverse reactions to medications and assesses their physical, mental, and psychosocial status.
• Takes and accurately records vital signs and completes procedures according to Eventide's policies and procedures.
• Monitors and educates Med Aides on medication delivery and assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Updates comprehensive nursing plans based on changes in seniors/clients' physical and emotional states.

Requirements

• At least age 18.
• Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an RN or LPN, preferred.
• RN or LPN License in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state required.
• CPR Required.

Qualifications

• Licenses/credentials must be kept up to date at the employee's expense.
• Must meet Eventide's vaccination requirements.

Pay

Starting pay range for RN's is $36-$40.32 per hour, and for LPN's is $29.00-$32.38 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions.

The position is a night shift from 6p-6:00a (12 Hours), with every third weekend and holiday rotation.
