Registered Nurse / RN LDRP
About the Role
Join our team as a night shift, PRN Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN) in Owasso, OK. You will be accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with Bailey Medical Center (BMC) standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.
You must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit, including understanding principles of growth and development over the life span and the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status.
The RN plans for the provision of patient care, including the development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with BMC standards. You will adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and may delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based on patient need and staff qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care activities.
- Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served, interpreting data to identify patient requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
- Develop, modify, and implement patient care plans in accordance with BMC standards.
- Adhere to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and delegate nursing tasks to other staff as appropriate.
Requirements
- ADN or BSN degree.
- Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license.
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care).
- ACLS certification (within 30 days of hire).
- NRP certification (within 30 days of hire).
- Fetal Monitoring: Intermediate or Advanced (within 1 year of hire).
Preferred Qualifications
- STABLE Certification.
- One or more years of L&D or Postpartum experience as a registered nurse.
