Registered Nurse (RN) Lactation Consultant

Status/FTE: TPD / 0.001 FTE
Shift length: 8 hours, Start Time: 0800
Unit: Mother/Baby

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Address inpatient and outpatient needs for lactating patients
• Conduct interviews, assessments, and interventions including education and training
• Provide consultations to staff, medical staff, and patients regarding drug or other substances and their compatibility with breastfeeding
• Handle billing for outpatient visits

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
• IBCLC certification required
• Three to five years' experience in mother/baby

Qualifications (Preferred)

• BSN

Pay

Base compensation plus:

• $3.50 weekend premium
• Charge RN and certification pay if eligible
