About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Lactation Consultant to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate lactation programs and services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource for staff and patients on lactation matters
- Provide education and support on breastfeeding
- Assess patient needs and develop evidence-based feeding plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and promote best practices
- Participate in community outreach and program development
- Stay current through ongoing education
- Contribute to training and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS certification
- IBCLC certification preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in Mother/Baby/Nursery settings
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
