Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) with post-partum experience for a 13-week contract in the Finger Lakes region of New York, with opportunities in Auburn, Buffalo, Rochester, Clifton Springs, Geneva, and Utica. The ideal candidate is skilled in acute maternal care, confident in clinical assessments, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate post-partum period. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, utilize Epic for documentation, and ensure high-quality patient-centered care.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Minimum of one year of labor and delivery/post-partum nursing experience
- Strong acute and clinical assessment skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- AWHONN and Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
- Ability to work rotating weekends

Pay
$58.00 to $70.00 per hour
Schedule
Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Contract Length
13 weeks
