About the role
This full-time, night-shift position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. You will direct nursing service activities in the Labor and Delivery Department, providing specialized professional nursing care to patients. Your role includes treating patients and their families with courtesy and respect, fostering a trusting attitude toward nursing, and helping parents accept their responsibilities. Work encompasses both direct and indirect patient care in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to hospital objectives and policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Minimum Experience: RN with at least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and Fetal Monitoring (must be completed within 3 months of employment)
- Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt
