The Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology provides specialized nursing care in a fast-paced, procedural environment.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care
- Supporting minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Educating patients and families
- Administering medications safely
- Ensuring resource efficiency

Qualifications and Skills
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current New York State RN license. Preferred candidates hold a BSN, prior clinical experience, and certifications like CCRN, ACLS, or PALS. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
Work Environment and Requirements
Work involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting in clinical settings, with exposure to disinfectants and PPE. Prior IR experience is preferred but not mandatory, with on-call responsibilities requiring quick response.
