MercyOne Genesis Infusion Center provides an outpatient and after-hours Infusion Center for patients needing infusion treatments.
About the role
We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse in our MercyOne Genesis Infusion Center.
Responsibilities
- Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for adolescent through aging outpatients undergoing treatment for cancer and other medical conditions.
- Manages pain, symptoms associated with treatment and illness, and quality of life.
- Adheres to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA.
- Participates in quality monitoring.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Field of Study: Nursing
- Special Training: Basic Life Support
- Preferred: Baccalaureate in Nursing; ONS Certification
- Licenses/Registrations: Registered Nurse in Iowa
