Registered Nurse RN Imaging

About the role

The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) at AdventHealth Celebration Health is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups. They utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and follow all rules and regulations of applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
• Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all parties involved.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing [Preferred]
• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]; ACLS and PALS also required for Imaging RNs at Celebration- all certifications can be obtained via RQI during hire

$31.53 - $52.24 per hour

Full-time Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 4/10's
