About the Role
Deliver high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team in a critical care setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
- Provide relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and involve patients and families in care planning.
- Coordinate safe, quality care through effective communication, documentation, and teamwork, supporting performance improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional development and maintaining competency through ongoing education.
- Promote evidence-based practice, research, and adherence to organizational policies and standards, including safety protocols.
- Participate in protocol development, data collection, and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid RN license; appropriate certifications including BLS, ACLS, and multi-state licensure required upon hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, time management, and technology skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and respond to emergencies professionally.
