Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU - Chabert Campus - PRN - Variable Shifts
About the role
We are seeking a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. This role involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, while maintaining accountability for quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Affirms the nursing process in delivering patient care.
- Affirms learning needs and implements appropriate teaching strategies.
- Manages nursing team resources and serves as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
- Evaluates and promotes changes to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Adapts behavior to specific patient populations, ensuring respect for privacy and clear communication.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- Certification in Clinical Specialty Area preferred.
Qualifications
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for practice and supports the company's philosophy of nursing.
Skills
Knowledge of current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility. Ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations, and standards.
