About the role
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care using the nursing process, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
- Documenting patient care, monitoring and communicating patient conditions, and assisting with activities of daily living.
- Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support.
- Providing patient and family education tailored to individual needs and advocating for patient well-being.
Qualifications and skills
- Current RN license in Tennessee or a compact state; associate's degree required, BSN preferred.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, Handle With Care, and Basic Arrhythmia within specified timeframes.
- Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and stress management skills.
- One year of experience preferred.
