About the role
The Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center is seeking a full-time RN to join their ICU/CCU team. The position offers a competitive salary, 18% night shift differential, and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential. The ICU/CCU is a 24-bed unit known for its supportive environment and strong team dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
- Plans and coordinates care with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
- Delegates tasks to other staff members as appropriate and ensures their competence in performing these tasks.
- Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure.
- BLS certification required.
- One year experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
