Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients within the ICU department at Avita Galion Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Affirms the nursing care plan and ensures its implementation.
• Supervises the care provided by nursing assistants, LPNs, and other support staff.
• Maintains continuity of care between shifts.
• Participates in patient and family teaching sessions.
• Fulfills the role of patient advocate, aligning with the hospital's mission.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience preferred.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
