The Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU position at Aurora Medical Center Grafton is a Full-time opportunity with a 3rd shift schedule. The role is located at 975 Port Washington Rd, Grafton, WI 53024.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association or within 6 months.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or within 6 months.

Schedule Details/Additional Information
- 9 FTE Nights 1900-0730
- 48 hours of weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Rotating holidays, approximately 2 per year

Aurora Medical Center – Grafton is a 132-bed facility recognized as a leading destination for healthcare. The ICU offers a collaborative space where nurses, CNAs, and HUCs work together to provide the best care possible. The team is supported by a dedicated Intensivist and skilled Respiratory Therapy professionals. Patient populations include cardiovascular surgery, sepsis, respiratory failure, general surgery, and others. The department features 17 private rooms, ensuring comfort and privacy for both patients and caregivers. Aurora Medical Center – Grafton is committed to accessibility and advanced technology, with a new patient tower scheduled to open in 2027. The hospital also provides exceptional care in cardiovascular health, women’s services, orthopedics, emergency medicine, surgery, and neuroscience.
