Registered Nurse RN Home Health PRN

Responsibilities

• Captures and oversees all aspects of patients' home care.
• Collaborates with patient care teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educates families on patient condition, needs, and care.
• Performs head to toe physical assessments.
• Checks vital signs and manages medications.
• Administers and maintains catheters.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervises LPNs and HHAs.
• Regularly communicates patient progress to the clinical manager, physician, and care team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience as a registered nurse (RN).
• If less than 1 year clinical experience as a RN, candidate must be approved by VP clinical.
• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Minimum six months home health experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
• Able to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age-specific needs.
• Familiarity with general use and functions of the computer, including user names and passwords, internet, email, navigation of computer desktop, starting programs, using files and windows, effective use of navigation buttons and tool bars, and ability to self-manage online HR services and training programs.
• Note: If less than 6 months clinical experience as a RN, candidate must participate in RN Intern program.

Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

Shift PRN, flexible on schedule, sees patients in Bell County.
