About the role
Professional Case Management, a leader in home healthcare, is seeking Registered Nurses to provide in-home healthcare services to veterans and individuals in need. This role offers the flexibility to set your own schedule, allowing ample time for personal pursuits such as education, travel, volunteering, and family time.
Responsibilities
- Initiate actions independently to enhance client care
- Perform client visits to provide skilled interventions focusing on realistic client outcomes within a specified timeframe
- Directly care for clients and delegate tasks based on education and demonstrated competence
- Advocate for clients and collaborate with them, families, and other healthcare team members to address their health needs
- Audit and refine collected data to identify and document health care needs
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, considering cultural, ethical, and spiritual aspects
- Administer medications and provide education on self-administration
- Evaluate the home environment for safety and implement necessary interventions
- Stabilize clients in emergencies and follow standard policies and procedures
- Apply technical nursing skills, including assessment, teaching, and counseling
- Evaluate client medications for potential interactions, adverse effects, and non-compliance
- Document interventions and client responses accurately and according to Agency guidelines
- Coordinate services for clients as needed and participate in team meetings
- Maintain confidentiality and promote a safe environment for clients and coworkers
- Delegated tasks to qualified personnel as specified by Agency regulations
- Participate in ongoing professional development and supervise/teach other nursing personnel
Requirements
- Graduate of a state-approved school of professional nursing
- Current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) of practice
- CPR certification and TB test

Pay
$40.00 - $42.50 hourly
Schedule
Available shifts include Friday-Sunday, 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
