About the role

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating unit functions during their shift. They collaborate with management to monitor and evaluate nursing care, serve as a resource for staff, and promote a team-oriented environment to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharges
• Participate in quality assessments
• Support service recovery
• Manage staff scheduling and training
• Support inventory control and ensure adherence to policies

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• Experience in Emergency Room (ER)
• Certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Trauma Nursing
• Additional certifications (e.g., NIH Stroke Scale, STABLE, Pediatric Emergency) should be obtained within specified timeframes
