About the role

Coordinate and maintain proper function of patient care. Primarily responsible for utilizing the nursing process in providing the healthcare needs of assigned patients within existing standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with assessment and care of patients
• Absorb and record data into medical record
• Assist with lab clinic, and office procedures directly relating to patient care and front office duties as required for an overall efficient operation
• Assess need and assist with refills of medications
• Assess patients calling and presenting as "walk-ins" to the office and triage accordingly

Requirements

• Licensure or other certifications: Professional Nurse with Current GA State License. Current ACLS and CPR.
• Educational Requirements: Associates Degree
• Experience: Minimum three (3) to five (5) years in cardiology

Qualifications

• Licensure or other certifications: Preferred ACLS, PALS
• Educational Requirements: Preferred Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: Preferred three (3) to five (5) years in cardiology

Skills

• Demonstrates knowledge appropriate to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations specific to unit of practice
• Maintains critical thinking skills
• Maintains sound clinical skills and judgment
• Uses basic computer skills necessary to operate computer systems used on unit
