Registered Nurse (RN Generalist)

About the role

Axia Women's Health is recruiting for a Part Time Registered Nurse (Generalist) at Bryn Mawr Women's Health. This role is located in Rosemont, PA with additional coverage in Newtown Square & King of Prussia as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and assesses patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines
• OBTAINS appropriate input and direction from the provider as needed to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care
• Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response. Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• Must hold current and unrestricted Registered Nursing license applicable to care center's location(s)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an outpatient clinical setting preferred
• Phlebotomy experience required
• CPR certification required
• Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR strongly preferred
• Familiarity with OB/GYN or women’s health patient populations beneficial
• Understanding of lab order sets and CPT coding a plus
• Willingness to support at satellite locations if needed

Pay or schedule

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Pay range: $30 to $37/hr
