Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time, Nights

About the role

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various medical conditions such as brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• Partners with a Nursing Assistant to manage a manageable case load.
• Helps patients achieve outlined goals and milestones based on their unique patient care plans.
• Receives admissions and/or transfers.
• Performs initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interprets assessment/diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry.
• Ensures medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promotes continuous quality improvement.
• Instructs and counsels patients/families.

Requirements

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or currently enrolled in a BSN program.
• Clinical experience is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation nursing practices.

Pay

$46.00/Hour - $61.93/Hour (Based on Years of Experience) +Shift Differential

Schedule

Full-Time, NIGHTS 7PM-7:30AM (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)
