Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Night Shift
Role Overview
Provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing residents' health, education, and environmental needs, and developing personalized care plans through an interdisciplinary approach. Ensures accurate documentation of assessments, care plans, and interventions such as medication administration and treatments. Uses critical thinking to respond to residents' changing conditions, communicates effectively with physicians and families, and maintains professionalism during crises. Monitors care delivery to ensure compliance with care plans, addresses issues promptly using quality improvement processes, and stays informed on residents' status for behavioral or health changes. Assists residents with daily activities (ADLs), responds to call lights, and participates in ongoing nursing education and self-study.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered nurse with a current license in the relevant state
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- CPR/AED certification (or willing to obtain within six months)
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and organizational skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with residents and equipment
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for documentation and patient care
