Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time, Night

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Registered Nurses (RNs) are central to this mission, ensuring compassionate and excellent care throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Extensive and thorough orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into the hospital setting.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Accurately document assessments and medical orders using appropriate systems.
• Interpret diagnostic data, including lab results and telemetry.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Participate in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS certification at hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Pay

• $46.81 - $63.00 per hour.
• Shift differentials: $4 for nights and $3 for weekends.

Schedule

• Full-time night shift, 12-hour shifts.
