Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-time Day Shift

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital Macomb is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a central role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Extensive and thorough orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into the hospital setting.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document assessments and medical orders using appropriate systems.
• Interpret and document diagnostic data accurately.
• Participate in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS certification at hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Pay

Up to $52.00 per hour (based on experience).

Schedule

Full-time dayshift hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm.
