About the role

The Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safety and excellence in a clinical environment supported by shared governance and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process and coordinate care with patients and families.
• Practice relationship-based, culturally competent care.
• Adhere to clinical standards and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document care accurately and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Engage in research and evidence-based practice.
• Mentor and precept new staff as part of professional development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of direct nursing experience.
• Diploma or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Instructor or provisional status in certifications preferred.
