About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Miami Lakes is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. RNs play a central role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Extensive and thorough orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into the setting.
• Participate in clinical ladder program and pursue certifications like PCCN and CCRN.
• Utilize comprehensive medical/RX, health, vision, and dental plans for full-time team members.
• Engage in systematic patient assessments, timely documentation, and interpretation of diagnostic data.
• Ensure medical orders are accurately transcribed and processed.
• Manage rapid response and code events, instruct, and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS required at hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
