Registered Nurse (RN) FT Inpt Psych Days ($12,500 sign-on bonus)

Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team. Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120‑bed adult inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, WA, a nonprofit hospital awarded both Department of Health and Joint Commission accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and restores patient’s mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process.
• Participates in the care plans of patients and their wrap‑around services.
• Provides physical and psychological support to patients.
• Provides clinical leadership for other staff on the unit.
• Maintains a hopeful and positive attitude in problem‑solving and coping.
• Promotes and maintains harmonious and effective relationships and communications with patients.
• Serves as a role model to staff, promoting Wellfound Values, a positive work environment, and efficient, quality patient care.

Requirements

• Current Washington State license without restrictions or accepted compact license.
• One year of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience required.
• Must join the SEIU Union within thirty (30) calendar days of employment and remain a member in good standing (unless a religious exemption is approved).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Pay

• Hourly rate: $41.12 – $76.24 based on union scale for experience
• Shift differentials: $4.25 for nights, $3.00 for weekends

Schedule

.9 FTE, three 12‑hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.
