Registered Nurse (RN), Forensic Unit

About the role

Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Full Time Day Shift, Forensic Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication and treatments
• Admitting and assessing patients
• Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
• Running and ordering tests
• Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
• Charting Patient Progress

Requirements

• Current licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state
• BLS and ACLS required

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree, diploma, or baccalaureate degree program in Nursing (preferred)

Pay

Shift and weekend differential pay offered on nights and weekends.
