Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool

About the Role

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) who provides direct patient care across multiple departments, including Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, and ICU. The role supports organizational and patient care needs by floating between units.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient admissions and discharges.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver care according to department standards.
• Serve as a team leader, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to achieving patient outcomes through ongoing assessments and care planning.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program and current NY RN license.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; commitment to obtaining it within five years.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare reporting and emergency response protocols.
