Registered Nurse (RN) - Float

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in Louisiana.
• Maintain a current certification in BLS.
• Participate in annual Infection Prevention education.
• Follow all Employee Health protocols (e.g., annual TB skin test, annual flu vaccine, and annual employee physical if maintaining insurance benefits).
• Complete annual training including Relias, Ethics, and Sexual Harassment.
• Attend all mandatory inservices including departmental meetings.
• Have basic computer knowledge.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.
