Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy Room Unit Full Time Day

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• Maintains a realization of own individual level of knowledge and experience and assumes responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others of the patient care team.
• Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervises and directs the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.
• Consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• Individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient’s needs.

Requirements

• BSN
• Endoscopy or ICU RN experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Nursing

Certifications and Licenses

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• ACLS

Pay

The pay range for this position is $47.85 - $67.04 per hour.

Schedule

Day Shift, 35.3 hours per week, 10am-6pm, Full Time, Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation, Weekend On-Call
