About the Role

Our state-of-the-art Endoscopy/Pain Department, located in the Chelsea Professional Building, features:

  • 16 prep/PACU bays
  • 2 pain procedure rooms
  • 4 endoscopy suites

In addition to outpatient services, we perform endoscopy and pain procedures for inpatients at Chelsea Hospital. We foster a collaborative and supportive environment where teamwork and exceptional patient care are paramount.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides quality patient-centered care considering age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

Requirements

  • Current Michigan Nursing License
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years

On-call requirements: 45-minute call response time.

Schedule

  • Full time, benefit eligible (64 hours per pay period – every two weeks)
  • Day shift – 8-hour shifts (varying start times depending upon cases)
