Responsibilities

• Serve patient populations across the lifespan: neonates, infants, early childhood, late childhood, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, and older adults.
• Access and manage protected health information including demographic, clinical, insurance, financial, and complete medical records.
• Work with occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens present for all employees.
• Meet physical requirements: frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements; regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards such as blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and related risks.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in nursing (required).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Active Kentucky RN license (single state or compact) required; if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence before employment begins.
• BCLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care certifications (preferred).
