Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in the Emergency Department at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ.
About the Role
The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department.
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
- Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Requirements
- Shift Accountability: NIGHTS 7PM - 7:30AM (3x12s)
- Will Consider 48-hr. Guarantee
- Preferred: Charge Nurse Experience (Additional Rate)
- Must be willing to float
Qualifications
- Years of experience: 2 yrs
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, AZ License
- EMR for your facility: Cerner - Exp Preferred
- Scrub colors / dress code: Black
- Trauma Level III Certified
- Stroke Receiving
- STEMI Receiving
- NIH Is Not Required, But Recommended

Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, rotating every three days.
