Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department - Weekend Program

About the role

The Emergency Department at Aurora Sinai Medical Center is seeking a dynamic nurse to join their team. The position is open to full-time hours if preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• A strong interest and passion for cardiac care
• A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth
• 1+ year acute care experience in acute care - would consider newly licensed RN with EMT, paramedic, ED clinical preceptorship or ED clinical rotation

Pay

$38.20 - $57.30 per hour based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.

Schedule

Part Time, Weekend Program nights, Saturday/Sunday, 1900-0730, 50% holidays - Weekend program contract required
