Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department - Full-Time

Role: The Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager oversees patient care, staff management, and operational efficiency in the ED. Responsibilities Manage staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.Ensure staffing levels meet department goals, assign nursing duties, and oversee productivity.Develop and implement collaborative care plans tailored to patient needs.Monitor staff hours, approve payroll, and coordinate staff communications and meetings.Maintain compliance with policies, support budget development, and respond to operational changes.Supervise quality of patient care, ensuring safety and adherence to standards. Qualifications & Skills Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree (Bachelor’s preferred).2-5 years of nursing experience; less than 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Key Duties Coordinate clinical and administrative activities within the ED.Support department goals related to quality, safety, and efficiency.Lead staff development and promote a collaborative work environment.
