Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department - Full-Time

Role: The RN Manager, ED oversees daily operations of the Emergency Department, managing staff, patient care, and departmental resources. Responsibilities Supervises, trains, and evaluates nursing staff; ensures compliance with policies and standards.Provides comprehensive patient care based on nursing processes, addressing physical, psychological, social, and educational needs.Develops and manages budgets, monitors expenses, and participates in strategic planning.Ensures regulatory compliance and maintains survey readiness.Participates in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling.Handles ethical issues, maintains confidentiality, and manages departmental performance metrics.Supports staff development, conflict resolution, and leadership growth.Assists with special projects and conducts staff meetings. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the state; CPR and ACLS certifications.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; 3-5 years clinical experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry; 2 years management experience.Strong decision-making, accuracy, computer skills, and self-motivation required.Preferred: Master’s degree.
