Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Department, Full time, 7am-7:30pm (Internal Candidates Only)

About the role

Provides comprehensive nursing care guided by the American Nursing Association's (ANA) Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice (2004), adapting standards based on experience, role, and patient population.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients’ health status through physical examination, observation, and documentation.
• Diagnoses health issues based on assessment data and implements appropriate interventions.
• Identifies outcomes and develops plans to achieve desired health goals.
• Implements care strategies and evaluates patient responses to ensure effective treatment.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing interventions and makes necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• One year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Emergency nursing experience preferred.

Pay

$50.50 - $84.25 per hour
