Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (FT Nights - 12hrs)

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver family-centered patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with patient/family and other professional disciplines to create a partnership to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery for the achievement of mutually desired patient outcomes.
• Support the organization’s vision and mission while promoting and providing excellence in nursing care.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience in an emergency, critical care or acute care setting.
• Previous pediatric emergency department experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing; Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) required within 2 years of hire.

Licensure

• Registered Nurse - California (RN),
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS);
• Basic Life Support (BLS);
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider – Essentials (NRP);
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS);
• Comprehensive Crisis Management within 3 months of hire;
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 6 months of hire.

Pay

Pay Range: Minimum $56.96 Midpoint $74.05 Maximum $91.14

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
