About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care for patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level.
- Supervising staff to ensure delivery of appropriate care and supporting clinical staff competency.
- Coordinating patient care within prescribed medical regimes, adhering to safety, risk management, infection control, and quality standards.
- Performing all hospital incident command system responsibilities during emergencies or disasters.
- Understanding and responding to hospital emergency codes per policies.
- Fulfilling related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as required by law.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
Skills
- Ability to deliver safe, effective patient care and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, infection control, and emergency response procedures.
- Strong supervision and team leadership skills.
