Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (Level I) responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, coordinating interdisciplinary plans, and demonstrating leadership skills. Responsibilities: Ensuring accurate assessments, timely documentation, patient and family education, and safe medication administration. Developing and modifying care plans, managing urgent situations, and fostering effective communication within the healthcare team. Participating in performance improvement activities, mentoring colleagues, and maintaining professional standards. Qualifications & Skills: Associate Degree in Nursing (BS preferred), valid NY RN license, at least 2 years ED experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and proficiency in data systems and communication. Ability to assess, problem-solve, and collaborate effectively. This role requires a commitment to excellence, professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and ongoing professional development. The RN will also ensure compliance with policies, participate in unit initiatives, and uphold the standards of nursing practice to deliver high-quality patient care.
