REGISTERED NURSE - RN ED
Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position at their In-Office Emergency Department (ED) in Tuscaloosa, AL.
About the Role
The ED RN will provide comprehensive emergency care to all age groups, working 36 or 48 hours per week, including holidays and every other weekend. The position involves floating to other units and hospitals as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients in an efficient and timely manner.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs to maintain competency in emergency nursing practices.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama or a compact state.
- AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, or RED CROSS NIH certifications.
- TNCC, SECURE on site, and other relevant certifications.
- Experience in a large hospital setting with at least 2 years of experience.
- Experience in trauma care is required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing.
- At least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
